Vichara: A Meditation & Reflection

The Yoga Sutras speak of vichara, or reflection , as an important aspect of your yoga practice. However, the sutras do not provide an instruction guide on how to practice: this instruction is passed down from teacher to student. In order to experience the freedom promised by the Yoga Sutras we must unlock that which limits and restricts us. Our yoga practice is about sustainably applying it to our lives on and off of the mat; in this workshop we put the concept of yoga into action. 

This workshop starts off with a meditative yet prana inspiring flow that focuses on stabilizing your body and breath. We’ll pay particular attention to rhythm in the flow of the practice. After savasana we’ll move into a led meditation where you’ll discover deeper layers of what you are allowing to subconsciously shape your life. Following meditation, we will work toward a practice of resolving inner turmoil in order to live with greater freedom. Sign up by yourself or with a partner. Please come prepared with a journal and a pen.

Workshop Refund Policy

Workshop Refund Policy: Withdrawal/cancellation from any workshop with more than 24 hours notice will be credited or refunded at 50%. Withdrawal from an event with less than 24 hours notice (or failure to attend) will not receive any refund or credit. Please arrive on time for workshops. Arriving later than 10 minutes after scheduled time may result in loss of your enrollment. Thank you for your understanding.
