A common misconception surrounding hatha yoga is that strength and flexibility are often at odds with each other, or at the very least represent opposing aspects of our practice and overall ranges of motion. In this illuminating Skills and Drills series, Rocky and Micah will the outline the fundamentals of active flexibility training as a pathway to leveraging your body’s facility around functional, curious, and occasionally mystifying poses. As we work mindfully to forge new pathways of ability throughout your tissues, your experience of strength and flexibility will merge into “Elastic Steel.” With their combined wealth of knowledge in applied anatomy and kinesiology, personal training, yoga, gymnastics, and circus arts, you will gain powerful tools and techniques to develop an in depth understanding of the mechanics required to manifest your movement and fitness goals. Each session will provide stages that progress through all levels of experience and capacity.

Workshop Refund Policy

Workshop Refund Policy: Withdrawal/cancellation from any workshop with more than 24 hours notice will be credited or refunded at 50%. Withdrawal from an event with less than 24 hours notice (or failure to attend) will not receive any refund or credit. Please arrive on time for workshops. Arriving later than 10 minutes after scheduled time may result in loss of your enrollment. Thank you for your understanding.
