We offer yoga classes ranging from classical to contemporary approaches, beginning to advanced levels, and styles that are gentle and meditative to vigorous and athletic. Asana Lab
This class is designed for habitual practitioners of hatha and vinyasa yoga seeking to deepen their knowledge and ability within a wide range of asanas. Each week either a peak pose or category of postures will be highlighted to serve as the focus for class. Come ready to work, concentrate, and play as we work together to increase our facility in and around pose knowledge and embodiment. Classes will also often contain elements of yoga philosophy, pranayama, and seated meditation, as well as live music while you rest in Shavasana. Recommended for practitioners at the intermediate level and above. Levels 2-3.
Ashtanga Led Primary and Guided Primary Series
Learn the traditional Primary sequence with attention given to ujjayi breathing, bandhas and drishti. Guided Ashtanga Primary is open to anyone comfortable with looking and doing, rather than learning by verbal instruction. Students must have ashtanga or vinyasa yoga experience. Levels 2-3.
Detox Flow
Inspired by Seane Corn, this class starts with sun salutes then moves through a flow to free your hamstrings, low back and warm your hips for opening. In a room heated between 85-90 degrees, expect to be challenged as you rinse toxic substances from your body and toxic thoughts from your mind. Levels 2-3.
Forrest Yoga
Forrest Yoga is an inspiring practice that builds flexibility, intelligence and strength while helping deepen your relationship with your authentic self. It uses heat and a vigorous sequence of poses to sweat out toxins and release tension. As you progress, you will learn to safely tailor each pose to work best for you, paying particular attention to physical and emotional injuries. Forrest Yoga challenges you to heal, grow & welcome your own unique spirit back home to your body. Levels 2-3.
Hatha Yoga
Blending heightened awareness with a variety of asanas ranging from light to challenging, these slow moving classes emphasize sound alignment and breathing. Instructors create a class that is adaptable to the abilities and needs of the group. All Levels.
Hatha Fusion
Fusing key components of Iyengar, Ashtanga and classical hatha yoga, these classes offer a serious but playful approach, creating a workshop-like experience every time. Each month will focus on a specific pose or theme, which we will break down and work up to with attention to detail, strategic warmups and preparation. This intermediate level class requires regular and recent yoga experience in order to attend. All Levels.
Pilates
Renowned for its ability to restore the natural curve of the spine and relieve tension, Pilates is a great way to increase your core strength for yoga! Increase your flexibility and endurance without risking injury or adding bulk. All Levels.
Pilates & Yoga Progession
Using deep, diaphramatic breathing, proper alignment, and muscle activation, this class combines core-based Pilates mat exercises and Yoga postures for a complete movement and conditioning workout. You’ll learn functional anatomy and alignment to support moving from your core with more grace, strength and balance. Many modifications and variations are offered to make this class accessible for all levels. All Levels.
Power Vinyasa Yoga
This challenging flowing practice synchronizes movement and breath in a room heated to about 90-95° to help you “go with the flow”; sculpting a new body, releasing toxins, and quieting the mind. Ranging from Levels 2, 2-3, & Level 3.
Power Vinyasa- Advanced
Delve into more advanced asana and variations in this challenging class which follows a format similar to Power Vinyasa but with less heat. Level 3.
Pranayama & Meditation
Expand your yoga practice to include powerful yogic breathing and meditation, two of the eight limbs of yoga. Each class will include detailed instruction and practices with time to ask questions. The results? A calm mind, peaceful heart, and heightened sense of well being. No experience necessary. All Levels.
Prenatal Yoga
Help bring ease and relaxation to your mind, stretch and strengthen your body, and touch the deepest part of your spirit during this important time in your life. Appropriate for all stages of complication-free pregnancy. All Levels
Restorative Yoga
This is a gentle, therapeutic style of yoga that uses props to support the body and deepen the benefits of the poses. It is a soothing and nurturing practice, which promotes conscious relaxation by stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system. All Levels.
Vinyasa Basics
Learn the fundamentals of movement-based classes in a safe and supportive environment that emphasizes good alignment. Vinyasa basics will teach you how to “go with the flow” and prepare you for vinyasa, power vinyasa or ashtanga led primary classes. Levels 1-2.
Vinyasa Yoga
These slower-paced movement-based classes offer a creative and unique sequence of poses without heat. Our vinyasa classes are richly infused with classical yoga teachings, detailed alignment, breathing, and meditation to calm the mind and open the heart. Levels 2 & 2-3.
Vinyasa & Restorative
This uniquely blended class begins with 45 minutes of Vinyasa yoga designed to build warmth, mobilize joints and get energy flowing. The class then evolves into 30 minutes of restorative stretching and therapeutic breath work designed to increase calm and help release the neck, hips, hamstrings and back. Level 2.
Yin Yoga
Gently stretches the connective tissues, targeting the hips, pelvis and lower spine in a simple practice, appropriate for all ages, levels of fitness and flexibility. Yin also engages the mind in focused meditation and contemplation of classical Eastern wisdom teachings. All Levels.
Yoga for Athletes
This class is designed to support all levels with emphasis on muscle awakening and stability, complemented by deep tissue release, breath and movement awareness. We’ll also focus on deep core, hip mobility, hip flexors, lower back and shoulders. Levels 1-2.
Yoga Basics
Geared to the beginning and returning student, these classes focus on basic yoga postures and techniques that can be applied to any style of yoga. Fundamental breathing techniques, postural alignment and yoga philosophy will also be introduced. Level 1.
